Post Graduate Programmes

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Regular Entry:

Candidate  must  be  a  Graduate  in  any  discipline  with  an  aggregate  of  minimum  50%  marks  and Mathematics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 or Graduation level.

Duration: Three years

Lateral Entry:

A candidate having passed BCA or B.Sc. (IT/CS) degree with minimum 50% marks shall be eligible for direct admission to second year of MCA Programme under lateral admissions.

Duration: Two years

Under Graduate Programmes

Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering (B.Tech CE) / Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech ME / Computer Science & Engineering (B.Tech CSE) / Electrical Engineering (B.Tech EE) / Electronics & Communication Engineering (B.Tech ECE)

Regular Entry:

Candidate must have passed the 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with 50 % Marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Computer Science with Pass marks in English and an overall aggregate of 55% marks in all subjects.

Duration: Four years

Lateral Entry:

A candidate having diploma or B.Sc. degree with minimum 55% marks shall be eligible for direct admission to second year of B.Tech Programme under lateral admissions. The criterion for direct admission is given below:

Three years Diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum 55% aggregate marks after 10th (Class X).

                                                  OR

Two years Diploma in Engineering/Technology with minimum 55% aggregate marks after 10+2 (Class XII).

                                                  OR

B.Sc. with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Computer Science as compulsory courses with minimum 55% aggregate marks.

Duration: Three years

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Candidate must have passed 10+2 in any discipline with Mathematics as an essential subject and an aggregate of minimum 50% marks.

Duration: Three years

Diploma Programmes

Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Computer Science & Engineering/Electrical Engineering/ Bio-Medical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering

Regular Entry:

Candidate must have passed High school (class X) or its equivalent examination from any recognized Institute/Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate Marks. A candidate should have studied science and mathematics at High school level.

Duration: Three years

Lateral Entry:

Candidate must have passed ITI (2nd year duration)/10+2 examination with science streams or its equivalent from any recognized Institute/Board.

Duration: Two years

Post Graduate Programmes

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Admission will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Graduation and Personal Counseling & Interaction, conducted by the University Admission Committee, with the candidate.

Under Graduate Programmes

Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering (B.Tech CE) / Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech ME / Computer Science & Engineering (B.Tech CSE) / Electrical Engineering (B.Tech EE) / Electronics & Communication Engineering (B.Tech ECE)

Admission will be made on the basis of merit of Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).

Alternatively, the scores of BITSAT / State Level Engineering Entrance will also be accepted.

Seats remaining vacant after the counseling will be filled on the basis of merit list prepared based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and the Personal Counseling & Interaction, conducted by the University Admission Committee, with the candidate.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Admission will be made on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 and the Personal Counseling & Interaction conducted by the University Admission Committee, with the candidate.

Diploma Programmes

Diploma in Electronics Engineering / Compute Science & Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Bio-Medical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering

Admission shall be based on the merit list prepared on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying examination. Due weightage shall be given to the candidates with valid JEEP score
