Students of Himalayan College of Nursing (HCN) were the winners in “Folk Dance” category in Garh-Kauthig, 2017, a seven day event organized by Akhil Garhwal Sabha in October, to promote folk dances and tradition of Uttarakhand.  The event was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of the state, Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat.


Gunjan Bahuguna, student of Bachelor of physiotherapy (BPT) is a Taikwando player par excellence and has many laurels to her credit. She has played three national level championships in India and each time won medals be it silver, gold and bronze medal.  She won a gold medal in recently held international championship in Bhutan and a bronze in World Game 2017 held in Nepal.  She was awarded black belt 1st dan degree by the Actor and youth icon Tiger Shroff in Mumbai.
