  • Comprehensive Hands-on-Training: Nucleic acid extraction, gene amplification and gene expression
  • Expression study of proteins
  • Tissue engineering and cell culture techniques
  • Data analysis and interpretation via bioinformatics tools in healthcare.

DHR Scheme

The DHR scheme for “support to conduct Training program” is intended to create a pool of talented health research personnel in the country by upgrading the skills of faculty of medical colleges, mid-career scientists, medical students and others. The goal of this program is to encourage and support the trainees to develop and take up research projects for addressing health problems of national relevance. DHR is to bring modern health technologies to the people through research and innovations related to diagnosis, treatment methods and vaccines for prevention; to translate them into products and processes and, in synergy with concerned organizations, introduce these innovations into public health system.
