Cancer Care and Research Centre (CCRC), the first oncological institute of Uttarakhand, has been a cornerstone of comprehensive cancer care, research, and training. As a major oncology centre for patients from across Uttarakhand and neighbouring regions, the center is visited by approximately 4500 patients annually. Radiation Oncology department itself treats nearly 1400 new patients every year, supported by a strong multidisciplinary team and advanced technology. The centre is equipped with world class treatment platforms including Varian TrueBeam, Halcyon, and a state-of-the-art brachytherapy, offering the full spectrum of modern oncological treatments including onco-surgery, chemotherapy,Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), immunotherapy, targeted therapy, precision radiation therapy, and Stereotactic Radiotherapy.
As oncology continues to evolve rapidly, integrating recent updates in cancer treatment is crucial for improving our knowledge and staying up-to-date. Emerging evidence in onco-surgery immunotherapy, targeted therapies, adaptive radiotherapy, paediatric oncology, survivorship, and precision medicine is reshaping cancer care worldwide. Regular academic exchanges and clinical updates empower clinicians to remain current, elevate practice standards, and deliver the best possible outcomes to their patients.
From Rockies to Himalayas: A Summit on SABR Advances is a premier international conference dedicated to showcasing recent updates in oncology. Built upon a rich scientific agenda, with leading experts joining from India and abroad, the conference features hands-on SBRT contouring workshops, site-specific masterclasses, multidisciplinary panel discussions along with highlighting how emerging oncology, spanning new systemic therapies, precision techniques, and evolving evidence, plays a critical role in improving patient outcomes.
