Intermediate students from Ekeshwsr visit GHSST Toli Campus, Pauri

Students of Rajkiya Ballika Intermediate college Ekeshwar, visited Gauri Himalayan School of Science and Technology (GHSST), Toli Campus as part of their educational excursion.

GHSST Hill Campus Toli, Dudharkhal Pauri is part of the Swami Ram Himalayan University initiatives that was formally inaugurated in the year 2018.

Vice Chancellor Dr. Vijay Dhasmana had laid the foundation stone for the new hostel building earlier this year, in the presence of all the faculty members and students of GHSST.

The young students looked elated seeing the facilities in place at the new educational institution including impressive classrooms, library and laboratory. They were particularly intrigued to get detailed information about ‘Telemedicine.’

Details relating to the courses conducted, fee structure, scholarships, placement, hostel facilities were explained to the group.

GHSST has been planned keeping in mind the future of the youth living in the far-flung areas of the state.

The villagers have hailed the setting up of GHSST in their neighborhood. It is common knowledge that students after completing schooling in the mountains would migrate to the cities in search of higher education, jobs and better future. Now living in the mountains, the students of GHSST can get quality higher education at subsidized rates.

The admission process at GHSST is currently underway. The courses offered here are Bachelor of Computer Application, BA/BSc in Yoga Science and Holistic Health, besides Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science and Engineering.
