POST GRADUATE PROGRAMMES

There is common counselling for admission to MD/MS/Diploma Courses on the basis of merit list of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) and is done under the overall supervision of State Government. Admission to MD/MS/Diploma Courses is strictly done as per MCI guidelines. Admission, Selection, Counselling is done as per qualification in terms of gazette notification that appears from time to time.

CERTIFICATE
Applied Nutrition & Dietetics
Graduates in public health, nutrition, medicine, biology & home science.
This area of study is particularly suitable for people whose employment falls in nutritional areas, medical practitioners, researchers, dieticians, pharmacists, paramedical personnel including nurses, social workers, public health educators and health assistants in the public and private sectors.
Duration: Six months
Epidemiology & Biostatistics
Applicants with graduate/post-graduate/PhD/post-doctoral qualifications in medical or other fields with relevant work experience in public health. Other graduates or professionals currently engaged in public health related activities. Prior knowledge of research methodology or statistics will be an added advantage.

Super specialty - M.Ch / DM
The admission into various Postgraduate Super-Specialty courses for academic session 2020-21 at Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences shall be made on the basis of merit/rank of All India NEET Super Specialty2020 (NEET-SS-2020) through common counselling, conducted at National Level by Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), New Delhi.

Process of admissions to undergraduate program is similar to that of Post Graduate. National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) merit list is the basis for counselling for admissions into MBBS. All admissions are done under the overall supervision of the State Agency.
