Grants, Innovation & Achievements

SST students and faculty actively participate in innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives. Eight SST student projects were selected for the prestigious Electropreneur Open Challenge 2.0 (Government of India) for Pre-Incubation at STPI and IIIT Delhi, securing a total seed funding of ₹8 Lakhs. Also, Externally funded research projects include AURA AquaSensiAI (AI-based Water Quality Monitoring), and HistoAI (Digital Repository for Contextual Analysis) — supported by industry partners from Australia and India.

SST offers a wide range of scholarships and financial assistance programs to ensure deserving students have access to quality education. Merit scholarships of up to 100% are available for outstanding academic performance, with additional support through merit-cum-means scholarships for students from economically weaker backgrounds.

Special scholarships are offered for transgender students, differently-abled students, and wards of Armed Forces, Paramilitary, and Police personnel. Freeship opportunities for orphan students and fee concessions for wards of SRHU staff members further strengthen the university's commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and educational opportunity for all.

Scholarship

Up to 100% Merit Scholarship- for outstanding students scoring above 90%.
Merit-Based Support- 75% or 50% fee scholarships available for achievers with 80% and 70%+.
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship- 50% tuition fee support for students with family income < ₹5 Lakh (min. 70% marks).
Special Scholarships- for Transgender, Differently-abled, and Wards of Non-Commissioned Officers (Armed/ Paramilitary/Police personnel - serving and retired) (Up to 100% in UG).
