·       Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

·       Knowledge to operate computer, video, and/or electro-physiological monitoring equipment.

·       Knowledge on safety regulations and procedures associated with electrical equipment.

·       Assist in the logistics and coordination of experiments and observations being carried out in the laboratories.

·       Maintain departmental lab records as required.

·       Manage the subject pool for ongoing experiments.

·       Responsible for orderliness and cleanliness of lab areas.

·       Maintain inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies.

·       Initiate requisitions for the replacement of times and repair of equipment as necessary.

·       Demonstrate and/or explain to student, research employee(s)/student assistant(s) proper laboratory procedures.

·       Oversee research assistants and students who are using the lab.

·       Develop and implement procedures for the efficient operation of a laboratory.

·       Install, test and maintain laboratory software.
