The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Science & Technology, Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) successfully organized a 50 Hours Winter Training Program on Amazon Web Services (AWS) on 27th January 2026 to 09th February 2026. The workshop was formally inaugurated with a welcome address delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, Dean, School of Science & Technology. The program was coordinated by Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Assistant Professor and Ms. Simranjeet Kaur, Lecturer, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Science & Technology, SRHU whose efforts ensured effective planning and smooth execution of the training. The program was conducted by Mr.Faby Methew, an experienced AWS trainer, who delivered comprehensive theoretical insights along with extensive hands-on training on cloud infrastructure deployment and management using AWS services. Through practical sessions and real-world use cases, students gained a strong understanding of cloud concepts, enhanced their technical confidence, and developed competencies essential for careers in IT, cloud, and software domains. The training also supported students in preparing for AWS certifications and technical interviews, effectively bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry requirements, and significantly contributing to students’ employability and technical readiness.
