Team ‘Ryders 11’ lift Himalayan Premier League Trophy
The Himalayan Premier League 2023 was an exhilarating experience for both the participants and the spectators.
The League is a cricket tournament organized for the staff of ‘Swami Rama Himalayan University’ every academic year. Aim is to allow a platform wherein members of the work force can bond socially and competitively, and learn to cope with winning and losing.
Over the course of a month, a total of 24 enthusiastic teams participated, showcasing their passion and talent for this popular sport.
The grand finale witnessed an intense clash between the formidable ‘Ryders 11’ and the spirited ‘Kalptaru’ teams.
With great anticipation, the match unfolded. From the very onset ‘Ryders 11’ displayed exceptional skills, successfully defending a small target of 48 runs against the formidable batting lineup of team ‘Kalptaru.’
The atmosphere was electric as players exhibited their dedication, teamwork, and strategic prowess throughout the match. Skills and abilities were in full display.
Eventually ‘Ryders 11’ emerged winners.
The Chancellor, Dr Vijay Dhasmana conveyed his congratulations to ‘Ryders 11’ for their well-deserved victory and commendable performance, as well as to all the participating teams for their unwavering spirit and sportsmanship.
