The historic moment displayed on TV screens in all university hostels

Students of Swami Rama Himalayan University showed tremendous enthusiasm as they watched the most stunning visuals in recent times, i.e. Chandrayaan 3’s successful lunar landing. As they watched the nation’s remarkable scientific achievement, they chanted slogans of "Jai Hind" displaying the national flag.

A live broadcast of the landing program of Chandrayaan-3, India's lunar mission by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), on the lunar surface of the moon was organized at the Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) Jollygrant campus.

At various locations across the SRHU campus in Dehradun, the landing event of the Chandrayaan-3 mission was live-streamed from ISRO's Mission Control Complex in Bangalore.

Students from all hostels gathered from 5:30 P.M onwards.

Chancellor Dr. Vijay Dhasmana mentioned that years ago, during Chandrayaan-2's landing, we had lost contact, not courage. “The safe landing of Chandrayaan-3 is a significant achievement for India. Such live events are significant as they boost a sense of patriotism and inculcate a research culture amongst younger generations. Today is a very big day for us and we are proud to extend our congratulations to the entire ISRO team. India is advancing in space missions consistently, and Indian scientists have once again made the nation proud worldwide. Alongside this, the victory chant of "Jai Jai Bharati, Mother India" echoes in our hearts. Just as we are proud of our scientists, let us ensure that our countrymen are equally proud of our achievements.”
