Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) Jolly Grant, organized Vishwakarma Puja in ceremonial grandeur.
Staff members of the Engineering and Motor Transport Department participated in the puja ceremony.
On this occasion, Dr. Vijay Dhasmana, the Chancellor of Swami Rama Himalayan University, offered flowers to the image of Lord Vishwakarma and participated in the yagna while remembering the university’s founder, Dr. Swami Rama.
Dr. Dhasmana mentioned that Lord Vishwakarma is the deity of creation and is also known as the world’s first engineer. He particularly extended his heartfelt wishes to all workers involved in construction and creation. He emphasized that Higher and Technical Education Institutions have a responsibility towards nation-building. He called upon all employees of the institution to contribute their invaluable efforts to the development of the institution, the state, and the nation.
