The Himalayan College of Nursing, SRHU, conducted an orientation session on the Code of Conduct for the newly admitted B.Sc. Nursing 1st Semester Batch 2024. Held on 7th November 2024 at the Mother Teresa Auditorium, the session was a key part of the orientation week. It was conducted by Dr. Vineet Mehrotra, Director of Students Affair & Welfare, with the objective of guiding students through the values and expectations of university life.
Dr. Mehrotra spoke about SRHU’s vision and mission, emphasizing academic integrity, discipline, and responsible behavior. He explained important academic policies, including attendance, assessments, and conduct regulations. Students were also introduced to various welfare initiatives and extracurricular opportunities that support their overall development.
A total of 190 students participated in the session, engaging actively with the discussion. The session effectively helped students understand SRHU’s core values and academic environment. It also familiarized them with key student resources, such as the central library, sports facilities, health services, and counselling support. By the end of the session, students were better informed about behavioral expectations and the disciplinary framework, laying a strong foundation for responsible conduct and meaningful involvement in university life.
