The Himalayan School of Science & Technology organized an Android/iOS App Development Competition on 7th April 2025, aimed at providing students with practical experience in mobile application development for both Android and iOS platforms. This competition introduced participants to key development tools, frameworks, and industry best practices, emphasizing UI/UX design to create engaging and user-friendly applications.
Through hands-on project work, students learned to design intuitive interfaces, integrate essential functionalities, and deploy fully functional apps. The event encouraged innovation, problem-solving, and critical thinking while promoting effective teamwork and communication skills among participants.
With 68 students taking part, the competition served as a comprehensive learning platform that prepared them for real-world challenges in the mobile technology industry. Participants built a portfolio of mobile applications showcasing their skills and gained confidence in their ability to deliver industry-relevant projects.
