Fusion Fiesta 2025: Ideathon & Project Expo Showcases Innovation and Creativity at SST, SRHU
The Department of Computer Science & Engineering, School of Science & Technology (SST), Swami Rama Himalayan University, organized Fusion Fiesta: Ideathon and Project Expo on 31st October 2025. The event served as a dynamic platform to foster innovation, creativity, and interdisciplinary collaboration among students, allowing them to showcase their innovative ideas and technical projects. It featured two major segments — the Ideathon and the Project Expo. A total of 21 teams participated in the Ideathon, presenting creative solutions to real-world challenges through design thinking and problem-solving, while 42 teams took part in the Project Expo, displaying working prototypes and research-based projects across domains like Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Data Science, and Sustainable Technologies. The event aimed to encourage innovation, provide exposure to student talent, and recognize projects with strong technical and practical relevance. Students received insightful feedback from faculty evaluators and industry experts, which helped them refine their ideas and improve their technical skills. The atmosphere throughout the event was vibrant and engaging, filled with enthusiasm, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. At the end of the event, Shivam Purohit and Mudit Pandit were declared winners of the Ideathon for their innovative project titled “Pashu Sewa”. In the Project Expo, Mr. Anshu Negi, Akhilesh Yadav, Gurmanjot Kaur, and Kavya Pant secured the Winner’s position for “SynapseERP: Connect, Automate, Scale”, while Astha Yadav, Niharika Dubey, Saloni, and Payal Pal were recognized as Runners-up for their project “Includify”. The event concluded with an appreciation ceremony, celebrating the most promising and impactful innovations. Fusion Fiesta successfully inspired young minds to explore new frontiers of technology and strengthened the culture of creativity, research, and project-based learning within the institution.
