On 13th August 2024, the Department of Clinical Research at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Swami Rama Himalayan University, conducted a session on the Modus Operandi for Placement as part of the orientation program. The session aimed to establish a clear and systematic framework for managing the placement process, ensuring students are well-prepared and informed about the steps involved in securing job opportunities.
During the session, participants were introduced to key procedures such as candidate assessment, resume building, and interview preparation. The facilitator emphasized effective employer engagement, aligning candidates’ skills with job requirements, and maintaining smooth communication throughout the placement process. Interactive activities like role-playing and case studies helped students practice essential skills and understand the importance of coordination between candidates, employers, and placement coordinators.
By standardizing placement protocols and defining roles, the session prepared students to navigate recruitment processes efficiently and confidently.
