The Himalayan School of Science and Technology (HSST), Swami Rama Himalayan University, organized Tech Forge 2024, a 36-hour internal hackathon held from 4:00 AM on 9th September to 4:00 PM on 10th September 2024. The event aimed to foster innovation and creativity by challenging student teams to develop working prototypes on cutting-edge ideas across diverse domains.
Approximately 120 participants formed around 20 teams that collaboratively worked on projects spanning artificial intelligence, healthcare, sustainability, automation, and smart city solutions. The primary objective was to identify promising projects to represent SRHU at the forthcoming Smart India Hackathon 2024.
The hackathon successfully created an energetic platform for students to showcase exceptional teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills. The participating teams developed innovative prototypes that demonstrated practical applications of technology to address real-world challenges. Several top projects were shortlisted to represent SRHU in the Smart India Hackathon 2024, marking a significant milestone for the institution’s commitment to nurturing innovation and excellence among its students.
