SRHU Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, organized an engaging entrepreneurial session titled “Doctor to Founder: How Medical Students Can Build the Next Big Startup” for the 2022 batch of MBBS students. Dr Amjad Husain, Director HCIE, delivered the keynote address, offering valuable insights into the convergence of medicine and entrepreneurship. Aimed at inspiring the next generation of healthcare leaders, the session highlighted the immense potential for medical students to drive innovation and build impactful startups in the healthcare sector.
A key feature of the session was a hands-on quantitative business model exercise led by Dr Husain, which actively engaged students in applying entrepreneurial thinking to real-world healthcare challenges. As part of the exercise, Mr. Akshat Pal and Ms. Manya Singhal were awarded Lenovo tablets for their outstanding performance in business analytics and preparing a profitable business model as a hands-on exercise after the lecture.
