The School of Biosciences, Swami Rama Himalayan University, observed Swachhta Pakhwada on 25th September 2025 as part of the national initiative to promote cleanliness and environmental responsibility. The event aimed to sensitize students and faculty towards their civic duties while fostering active participation in maintaining hygiene and sustainability within and around the campus. The program commenced with an orientation by faculty members, who highlighted the importance of Swachhta Pakhwada and the role of collective efforts in realizing the vision of a clean and healthy India. Following this, students and faculty members actively took part in cleaning activities around the School of Biosciences, including litter collection, waste segregation, and proper disposal. Through this collective endeavor, the participants not only contributed to a cleaner and greener campus environment but also reinforced the university’s commitment to holistic education that integrates academic learning with social responsibility.
