60-Hour Amazon Web Services (AWS) Summer Training Program Conducted at School of Science & Technology, SRHU

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), School of Science and Technology (SST), SRHU, successfully conducted a 60-hour summer training program on Amazon Web Services (AWS), beginning on June 26, 2025. Held in Computer Lab–6 at SST, this 12-day capacity-building initiative was designed to provide participating students with hands-on experience in cloud computing, infrastructure management, and industry-standard AWS practices. With participation ranging between 40 to 45 students, the program aimed to enhance industry readiness, equip learners with advanced technical competencies, and prepare them for AWS certifications and technical interviews.

The training was inaugurated by Dr. Pramod Kumar, Dean (SST), SRHU, alongside Dr. Gaurav Sharma, and experts from Exain Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Ashish Mishra and Mr. Faby Mathew. The inaugural session emphasized the growing importance of cloud technologies in the IT industry. Throughout the training, students engaged in instructor-led modules, live demonstrations, and hands-on labs that provided in-depth exposure to core AWS services. Real-time project work, focused interview preparation, and resume-building sessions further empowered participants to navigate the job market with confidence.

The program attracted students from diverse disciplines, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to cloud learning. It served as an important bridge between academic curriculum and industry application, promoting innovation and technical excellence.
