The School of Science & Technology, Swami Rama Himalayan University, organized Alumni Meet 2026 on 14 February 2026 at the Visvesvaraya Auditorium, Dehradun. The gathering brought together alumni of B.Tech, BCA, MCA, and B.Sc. (Data Science) programmes to celebrate their enduring relationship with the institution and strengthen academic and professional collaborations. The event served as a vibrant platform for reconnecting, sharing experiences, and fostering meaningful engagement between alumni, students, and faculty.
The programme commenced with a welcome address, followed by an inspiring session by Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, Dean, School of Science & Technology. Emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning and professional values, he highlighted the role of alumni networks in shaping career pathways and strengthening institutional growth. Senior alumni from reputed organizations shared valuable insights into corporate expectations, industry trends, and the transition from academic life to professional environments. They reflected on their academic journey at the university, acknowledging faculty mentorship, experiential learning, and institutional support that contributed to their success.
An interactive question-and-answer session encouraged active dialogue between alumni and current students, focusing on higher education opportunities, skill development, and employability readiness. The exchange of perspectives offered students practical guidance on career planning and professional preparedness. The event concluded with an informal networking session over tea and refreshments, fostering camaraderie and collaborative spirit among participants.
With the participation of 40 alumni, the meet significantly strengthened alumni–student engagement, enhanced awareness of evolving industry demands, and reinforced the university’s commitment to nurturing lifelong relationships and holistic development.
