Himalayan College of Nursing organized an enriching alumni talk by Mr. Abhishek Singh, Registered Nurse at Keats Ward (Stroke, Dementia, and Geriatric Care), Kingston Hospital, London, during which he shared his inspiring professional journey from SRHU to working in the UK healthcare system. He highlighted the key requirements for overseas nursing practice, including clinical skill development, effective communication, licensing procedures, and adaptation to international healthcare standards. Drawing from his personal experiences, Mr. Singh provided practical guidance on the challenges and opportunities associated with pursuing a global nursing career. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, allowing students to clarify their queries regarding international pathways. Attended by 128 participants, the talk proved to be highly informative and motivating, encouraging students to strengthen their competencies and confidently prepare for global nursing opportunities.
