Blood Donation Camp Organized by the School of Science & Technology, SRHU
The School of Science and Technology, Swami Rama Himalayan University, successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 12th November 2025 at the Visvesvaraya Auditorium, SST, SRHU. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion (Blood Centre), Himalayan Hospital, SRHU, and saw the enthusiastic participation of 74 donors who selflessly contributed to this noble cause. The camp commenced at 09:30 AM and continued until 02:00 PM, ensuring smooth coordination and active engagement throughout.
After donating blood, donors were provided with refreshments, certificates, and eco-friendly jute bags as tokens of appreciation for their valuable contribution. Medical staff and volunteers from the hospital continuously monitored all participants post-donation to ensure their comfort and well-being. The event concluded on a compassionate note, highlighting the spirit of empathy and community service among the participants.
The event was effectively coordinated by Ms. Vaishali Gupta, Computer Science & Engineering Department, School of Science & Technology.
