A bootcamp for 1st Year Biosciences students
The Himalayan Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (HCIE) has organized a Boot Camp- “Unlock your Potential” for 1st-year biosciences students of SRHU on 07-08-2024.
The event featured an interactive, hands-on workshop where participants explored the intersection of biotechnology and entrepreneurship. Students were guided through the process of designing and developing innovative business ideas in biotechnology, encouraging them to think creatively and apply their scientific knowledge to real-world challenges. The bootcamp also emphasized on team work, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills by engaging students in group activities to refine their ideas. Following the brainstorming and development phase, each team presented their business ideas, receiving feedback from mentors and peers. This activity helped enhance their confidence, communication skills, and entrepreneurial mindset, fostering a deeper understanding of how bioscience innovations can be transformed into impactful business ventures.
The bootcamp successfully provided students with practical exposure to the startup ecosystem, preparing them for future opportunities in biotechnology and other sectors.”
