Cricket Match Organized for BCA First-Year (Section A) Students by the School of Science & Technology, SRHU
The School of Science & Technology, Swami Rama Himalayan University, organized a friendly cricket match for BCA First-Year (Section A) students on 30th October 2025, under the coordination of Mr. Satyendra Singh Rawat and Mr. Rachit Lakhera from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The event aimed to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy competitive spirit among the students while providing them a refreshing break from academic activities. Held at the University Sports Ground at 12:20 PM, the match featured two teams — Team A and Team B — formed from Section A students. The event began with a brief opening ceremony where faculty members encouraged students to engage in extracurricular activities for holistic growth. The match witnessed enthusiastic participation, energetic performances, and strong camaraderie among players. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and cheer as students supported their peers throughout the game. Faculty members appreciated the students’ discipline, enthusiasm, and team spirit, making the event a joyful and memorable success.
