The School of Science & Technology, Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), successfully organized an offline Data Analytics Training Program from 22nd to 26th December 2025 at the SST premises under a CSR initiative supported by IBM, in collaboration with ICT Academy. The program was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar (SMIEEE, ACM, IETE), Dean, SST, SRHU, and Dr. Ashutosh Bhatt, Associate Professor, SST, SRHU, who highlighted the growing importance of data-driven decision-making and analytical skills in today’s industry. The inaugural session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, Dr. Ashutosh Bhatt, Mr. Aditya (ICT Academy Representative), and Mr. Rohit Ranjan (Trainer), who shared insights on industry-oriented skill development and employability enhancement. The training sessions were delivered by Mr. Rohit Ranjan, a Power BI Developer and Corporate Trainer, whose hands-on and practice-oriented approach provided participants with real-world exposure to data analytics and business intelligence tools. The 26-hour offline training focused on Python, data-driven decision-making, and the application of analytics techniques to real-life scenarios, with highly interactive sessions that strengthened participants’ technical competencies. The program concluded successfully with active student participation, and the remaining 16 hours of training will be conducted in online mode to ensure continued learning and practical exposure. The entire program was smoothly coordinated under the supervision of the Single Point of Contact (SPOC), Dr. Ashutosh Bhatt, whose efforts ensured the effective execution of the training initiative.
