Entrepreneurial Boot Camp by SST and HCIE
An Entrepreneurial Boot Camp for first-year BCA students of the School of Science & Technology (SST) was organized by the Himalayan Centre for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (HCIE) in collaboration with SST on 10th September 2025. The boot camp aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, fostering innovative thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset. Keynote speaker Dr. Amjad Hussain delivered an insightful session on Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Start-ups, explaining business models using key metrics, growth strategies, problem statements, customer segmentation, and channels. The session helped students understand the difference between academic learning and real-world entrepreneurship while highlighting the importance of strengthening India’s culture of innovation. With active participation from 23 students, engaging discussions, and refreshments courtesy of HCIE, the event received positive feedback and was deemed a success. Both SST and HCIE expressed their commitment to organizing more such informative and interactive boot camps in the future.
