IEEEXtreme Programming Competition 19.0 Facilitated by the School of Science and Technology (SST), SRHU
The School of Science and Technology (SST), Swami Rama Himalayan University, successfully facilitated the IEEEXtreme Programming Competition 19.0 on 25th–26th October 2025 in Computer Lab-6, SST. The event saw enthusiastic participation from nine teams representing the IEEE SRHU Student Branch (STB60226050). IEEEXtreme is a globally recognized 24-hour competitive programming event organized annually by IEEE, where student teams worldwide compete to solve complex algorithmic problems within a limited timeframe.
The competition at SRHU began at 5:30 AM on 25th October and continued through the night until 5:30 AM on 26th October 2025. Participants demonstrated exceptional perseverance, teamwork, and technical expertise throughout the challenge. The 24-hour event tested their coding skills, logical reasoning, and ability to perform under continuous pressure, mirroring real-world global competition standards. The participating teams—SynapseSquad, Malloc, TeamV, Coders404, Nexus, CodeCrew, UKCoders, TryHard, and SquadX—exhibited remarkable dedication and enthusiasm. Proctors and faculty coordinators ensured seamless execution and provided guidance during the competition.
The successful completion of IEEEXtreme 19.0 marked a proud milestone for the IEEE SRHU Student Branch, offering students global exposure and enhancing their technical and collaborative competencies. The event not only strengthened participants’ programming skills but also inspired them to engage confidently in future IEEE and international coding challenges.
