The School of Science & Technology (SST), SRHU, celebrated National Technology Day 2025 on 13th May with a spirited lineup of activities dedicated to nurturing innovation among B.Tech students.
The day began with an inaugural address that revisited the historic significance of May 11—India’s landmark nuclear achievement at Pokhran in 1998. Faculty members emphasized the importance of youth-driven innovation and the pivotal role of budding engineers in nation-building.
The highlight of the celebration was an expert session by Dr. Gunjan Chhabra, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, who delivered an insightful talk on Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), and Sustainable Engineering Practices. The session spurred engaging discussions and sparked interest in how emerging technologies are reshaping our world.
With 42 participants, the event fostered critical thinking, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset among students. It concluded with a renewed commitment to embracing innovation and contributing meaningfully to the country’s technological progress.
