The Department of Clinical Research at the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences, Swami Rama Himalayan University, organized a lecture on the theme “Human Values – Concept and Importance” on August 6, 2024. The session was facilitated by Prof. Asha Chandola Saklani and attended by 16 participants. The primary objective of the session was to delve into the relevance of human values in contemporary society and emphasize their critical role in shaping individual character and societal norms.
Prof. Chandola introduced core values such as honesty, empathy, respect, and integrity, explaining how these principles serve as the foundation for ethical conduct and meaningful living.
