Report on QS-I-Gauge Orientation Program
The Orientation Program on QS I-GAUGE Methodology was successfully conducted on 29th August 2025 at 11:00 AM in the BC Auditorium of Swami Rama Himalayan University. The session was facilitated by Ms. Ayushi and Ms. Suchismita Mallick, esteemed representatives from QS I-GAUGE in online mode.
The program was graced by the presence of Dr. Rajendra Dobhal Honourable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Vijendra Chauhan, Director General – Academic Development, Dr. Pradeep Varshney Director – IQAC, along with Directors, Principals, and Heads of various units of the University.
The orientation aimed to provide in-depth insights into the QS I-GAUGE ranking framework and methodology, highlighting parameters for assessment, data submission processes, and benchmarking indicators of institutional performance. The resource persons elaborated on how QS I-GAUGE serves as a globally recognized tool to evaluate and enhance institutional quality, reputation, and visibility.
During the session, participants were guided on key aspects such as:
- Methodology and parameters used in QS I-GAUGE rankings.
- Importance of data accuracy and evidence submission.
- Role of benchmarking in institutional growth.
- Strategic steps for continuous improvement in academic and research outcomes.
A dedicated Question & Answer Session followed the presentations, wherein participants actively interacted with the QS I-GAUGE experts. Various queries regarding data requirements, ranking methodology, and institutional benchmarking were addressed, providing further clarity and practical understanding to the attendees.
The event was coordinated by Dr. Nikku Yadav, QS I-GAUGE Coordinator, who ensured smooth organization and active participation of stakeholders.
The Orientation Program proved highly insightful and interactive, equipping the University leadership and faculty with a clear understanding of QS I-GAUGE processes and motivating all units to work in synergy towards institutional advancement.
