On 28th November 2024, the IEEE SRHU Student Branch successfully conducted its leadership selection drive to appoint students to key positions within the organization. This event was an important step toward reinforcing the branch’s mission of promoting technical excellence, innovation, and student engagement across the university. The drive was meticulously planned to evaluate each candidate’s leadership qualities, technical understanding, communication abilities, and vision for the future of the IEEE branch at SRHU.
A total of 12 candidates participated in the selection process, vying for various leadership roles. The evaluation process involved vision presentations and interactive Q&A sessions, which allowed the panel to assess the candidates’ readiness to take on responsibility, their strategic thinking, and their grasp of IEEE’s core values. Each participant demonstrated a strong commitment to the spirit of innovation and technical advancement, and brought forth ideas that reflected their passion for student-led initiatives.
The event culminated in the successful selection of a new and enthusiastic leadership team. Key positions such as Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Webmaster, Event Coordinator, Media and Public Relations Head, Partnership Head, Treasurer, Quality Head, and Advisor were filled by individuals who exhibited outstanding leadership potential and alignment with the branch’s objectives. The results were officially announced on 30th November 2024, marking the completion of the leadership transition.
With a dynamic and capable team in place, the IEEE SRHU Student Branch is well-positioned to reach new milestones in its journey of fostering technical learning and collaborative growth among students. The selection drive not only strengthened the foundation of the branch but also reaffirmed its commitment to empowering student leaders who can shape the future of technology-driven education and innovation at SRHU.
