On 27th September 2024, the Himalayan School of Science and Technology (HSST) organized a Poster Presentation Competition as part of the ‘Swachchta Pakhwada’ campaign, centered around the theme ‘Swachchata Hi Sewa’. The event served as an engaging and impactful platform to highlight the significance of cleanliness, hygiene, and sustainable waste management practices in everyday life. Through creatively designed and visually compelling posters, students conveyed strong messages underscoring cleanliness as a vital national service and a shared civic responsibility.
With a participation of 29 students, the competition witnessed enthusiastic involvement and artistic expression, reinforcing the message of cleanliness as essential not just for personal well-being but for societal and environmental health. The posters effectively captured the spirit of the Swachh Bharat mission, inspiring both participants and viewers to actively take part in cleanliness initiatives and adopt sustainable habits. The event contributed meaningfully to spreading awareness about the importance of sanitation and its direct link to public health and ecological balance. By using art as a medium for advocacy, the competition left a lasting impression and strengthened collective resolve towards creating a cleaner, healthier nation.
