Report on Teachers’ Day Celebration

The Himalayan School of Science and Technology (HSST) celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2024 with great enthusiasm and reverence at the HSST Auditorium. The event was organized to honor and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of educators in shaping the future of students and society. It began with a tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is commemorated as Teachers’ Day across India, in recognition of his profound influence on Indian education and philosophy.

The celebration featured a warm and cheerful Cake Cutting Ceremony, symbolizing gratitude and admiration for the teaching fraternity. Approximately 250 students participated in the event, expressing their heartfelt appreciation through speeches, messages, and enthusiastic involvement. Faculty members were felicitated and acknowledged for their dedication, mentorship, and unwavering support in guiding students through their academic journeys.

The event created a vibrant and emotional atmosphere, strengthening the teacher-student bond and emphasizing the role of educators as mentors and torchbearers of knowledge. It concluded on a joyful and reflective note, reaffirming HSST’s commitment to fostering a culture of respect, learning, and mutual admiration within the academic community.
