Smart Code: IoT Workshop for Innovators Held at SST, SRHU

The IEEE SRHU Student Branch (STB60226050), in collaboration with the Creative Cell, School of Science & Technology, organized a two-day workshop titled “Smart Code: IoT Workshop for Innovators” on October 10–11, 2025, to celebrate IEEE Day. Conducted by Dr. Vibhor Sharma, Associate Professor, SST, and Mr. Shubham Gangari, IEEE Student Branch Chair, SRHU, the workshop aimed to provide participants with hands-on experience in understanding and implementing Internet of Things (IoT) concepts. The sessions covered IoT fundamentals, system architecture, sensor interfacing, and microcontroller programming through live demonstrations. On the second day, participants engaged in advanced IoT training followed by a Project Exhibition, where they presented innovative IoT-based solutions developed during the workshop. The exhibition was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, Dean, SST, and faculty members, who appreciated the students’ creativity and technical proficiency. A total of 59 students participated enthusiastically, gaining practical knowledge and exposure to real-world IoT applications. The workshop successfully promoted innovation, teamwork, and technical excellence, embodying the IEEE spirit of advancing technology for humanity within the SST community.
