SRHU Faculty Excel at EFICON & EPIMIX 2025
Swami Rama Himalayan University marked a proud moment as faculty from the Departments of Community Medicine and Clinical Research demonstrated exceptional academic leadership at the VI Annual EFICON 2025 held at AIIMS New Delhi. Representing SRHU on a national stage, the team chaired multiple scientific sessions, including major oral paper presentation segments, reinforcing the university’s strong academic presence and expertise.
A highlight of the conference was the successful organization of EPIMIX-2025—India’s prestigious postgraduate epidemiology quiz—led by SRHU for the third consecutive year. The event brought together 18 top teams from renowned medical institutions across the country, creating a dynamic, competitive, and intellectually stimulating environment. Innovative rounds such as The Sorting Hat Quiz, Mirror of Epidemiology, Chamber of Crosswords, and the rapid Fire of Spells challenged participants to apply epidemiological reasoning with precision and speed.
The quiz was expertly coordinated by SRHU faculty members Dr. Deep Shikha, Dr. Ruchi Juyal, Dr. Vidisha Vallabh, and Dr. Niku Yadav, whose dedication and creativity elevated the event’s quality and impact. Top positions were secured by teams from PGIMER Chandigarh, AMU Aligarh, LHMC Delhi, and PGIMS Rohtak, with cash prizes awarded to recognize their outstanding performances.
The event saw vibrant participation from premier institutions such as UCMS Delhi, GTBH Delhi, AIIMS Jodhpur, VMMC & SJH Delhi, AIIMS Raipur, JNMCH Aligarh, MLNMC Prayagraj, Uttaranchal University Dehradun, and many others, making EPIMIX-2025 a significant platform for academic collaboration and growth.
