Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), Jolly Grant, has formally launched a German language training batch for nursing students under its Overseas Training and Placement Programme in collaboration with skill development partner Learnet Skills. The initiative aims to equip students with language proficiency and global competencies, opening pathways to international career opportunities.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Mukesh Bijalwan, Nodal Officer for Overseas Training and Placement. During the session, Mr. Puneet Singh, Assistant Vice President at Learnet Skills, presented an overview of the programme, explaining the structure of the German language training, employment prospects abroad, and the overall training process designed for students.
Mr. RCM Reddy, Managing Director of Learnet Skills, highlighted that such initiatives play a crucial role in enabling students to gain global recognition for their professional skills and prepare them for international healthcare environments.
Addressing the gathering, SRHU Vice Chancellor Dr. Rajendra Dobhal emphasized the growing importance of language proficiency and international exposure in today’s professional landscape. He stated that the programme will help nursing students access better global opportunities while strengthening their professional capabilities.
During the event, selected nursing students were also provided with German language training kits. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Ramesh Petwal, State Head of Learnet Skills.
