Students from the School of Science & Technology (SST), Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), participated in ByteVerse 1.0 – Building the AI-Driven Digital Universe, held on 19–20 March 2026 at The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) University, Dehradun. The national-level event brought together young innovators to develop technology-driven solutions addressing contemporary challenges through artificial intelligence and digital tools.
The competition began with an online Round-1 presentation submission via the Unstop platform, where teams presented their ideas and proposed solutions. After successfully clearing the initial screening round, a four-member team from SST, SRHU qualified for the final 24-hour offline hackathon round conducted at ICFAI University. The team represented SRHU in a highly competitive environment where participants were required to build practical and impactful digital solutions within a limited timeframe.
Team Vajra from SST presented an AI-driven software solution, demonstrating strong technical skills, creativity, and a thoughtful approach to problem-solving. Their project focused on developing a practical and efficient solution with potential social relevance. The team members included Mr. Shubham Gangari, Mr. Saurabh Kaintura, Ms. Anshika Bijalwan, and Mr. Akshat Gairola, all third-year B.Tech students of the School of Science & Technology.
The hackathon concluded with a valedictory ceremony celebrating innovation in AI-driven digital solutions and recognizing participants for their contributions toward building scalable and socially impactful technological applications. The participation of SST students reflected the university’s commitment to encouraging innovation, collaborative learning, and real-world problem-solving among aspiring technologists.
