SST-SRHU Shines at NASA Space Apps Hackathon 2025

The School of Science and Technology (SST), Swami Rama Himalayan University, actively participated in the NASA Space Apps Hackathon 2025, held on 30th September 2025 at DIT University, which brought together talented young innovators from across Uttarakhand to tackle real-world challenges through creativity and collaboration. The 12-hour hackathon witnessed the participation of 50 teams, each comprising a minimum of four members. From SRHU, six teams with a total of 26 students took part with great enthusiasm, showcasing problem-solving skills, teamwork, and innovation under the guidance of Faculty Coordinator Dr. Swati Rawat. Amidst intense competition, SRHU achieved a proud milestone by securing the 3rd Runner-Up position. The winning team, comprising Gurmanjot Kaur (B.Tech III Year), Kavya Pant (B.Tech III Year), Anishka Negi (B.Tech III Year), and Aditya Pyakurel (BCA III Year), was honored with NASA medals, T-shirts, certificates of achievement, and a cash prize of ₹5,000/-. This accomplishment highlights SRHU’s commitment to fostering innovation, resilience, and excellence among its students on a competitive state-level platform.
