The School of Management Studies (SMS) Organizes a Guest Lecture on “Strategic Management”

The School of Management Studies (SMS) organized a Guest Lecture on “Strategic Management” on Saturday, 11th October 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at KLT-6, SMS Premises. The session was delivered by Prof. Somonnoy Ghosh, Professor at BIMTECH–NOIDA, under the initiatives of the Business Advisory Council (BAC). The event aligned with the School’s vision of positioning SMS as a leading business school in Uttarakhand.

Prof. Somonnoy Ghosh delivered an insightful lecture on the theme “Strategy as a Living System,” emphasizing that organizations must constantly evolve to remain relevant in a dynamic and uncertain business environment. He explained that “Strategy is not a destination but a navigation process,” inspiring students to perceive markets as teachers and strategy as an ongoing process of learning and adaptation.

The session deepened students’ understanding of strategic management in modern business contexts and provided practical insights into adaptive thinking and decision-making skills essential for future managerial roles. All MBA I Year students participated actively, making the lecture an engaging and enriching experience.
