UDHBHAV-2025 Hackathon Level-1 Successfully Organized by the School of Science & Technology, SRHU
The School of Science & Technology, SRHU, successfully organized “UDHBHAV-2025, Hackathon Level-1” on 15th November 2025 in collaboration with ITDA, Department of Information Technology, Good Governance & Science Technology, Government of Uttarakhand under the Uttarakhand AI Mission Chapter. The event was coordinated by Dr. Gunjan Chhabra, Dr. Swati Rawat, and Dr. Gaurav Sharma from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The hackathon was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) Pramod Kumar, Dean, School of Science & Technology, along with faculty members who encouraged students to engage actively and explore AI-driven, citizen-centric solutions.
The one-day event aimed to build awareness of AI ethics, responsible AI practices, and policy frameworks while encouraging innovation among students. Participants demonstrated their creativity and technical skills by developing impactful, real-world applications aligned with the goals of the Uttarakhand AI Mission. Projects were evaluated by an internal jury comprising Dr. Deepak Srivastava, Dr. Ashutosh Bhatt, Dr. Vibhor Sharma, Dr. Anupama Mishra, Dr. Pooja Baloni, Dr. Suman Pant, Dr. Shiv Preet, Mr. Gaurav Aggarwal, and Mr. Kamalpreet Singh, based on creativity, implementation, and presentation.
The hackathon concluded with Team Drishya winning first place, followed by CICADA in second and Revengers in third. Team Drishya has been selected to represent SRHU in the Level-2 Hackathon at UPES on 24th November 2025. The event highlighted the students’ innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, marking another successful step toward fostering a strong AI-driven ecosystem.
