Workshop on “The Art of Word and Excel: Skills for Everyday Success” Organized by the School of Science & Technology, SRHU
The School of Science & Technology (SST), Swami Rama Himalayan University, successfully organized a one-day hands-on workshop titled “The Art of Word and Excel: Skills for Everyday Success” on 29th October 2025 at Computer Lab–2, SST. The session was conducted by Ms. Shivani Sharma, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering. The workshop aimed to enhance students’ practical proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, emphasizing their significance in academic and professional applications. Participants engaged actively as they learned advanced Word features such as document formatting, referencing, and professional report creation, along with Excel functionalities including formulas, data visualization, conditional formatting, and data analysis techniques. The interactive session concluded with a Q&A round, allowing students to discuss challenges and share insights from their learning experience. Positive feedback from participants reflected the workshop’s success in building essential digital skills. The event not only boosted students’ confidence in documentation and data management but also reinforced SST’s commitment to fostering industry-relevant, technology-driven learning for academic and professional excellence.
