The Rehabilitation Unit of Speech & Hearing at SRHU celebrated World Voice Day on 16th April 2025 with a series of interactive and educational activities. The event aimed to raise awareness about voice health and disorders among BASLP students. Ms. Kanika Lodhi (Batch 2024) presented an informative poster on the “Causes of Voice Disorders.” Mr. Ravinder Thakur, Lecturer in ASLP, demonstrated key voice therapy techniques, offering practical insights into voice rehabilitation. A quiz competition on voice-related topics was conducted by ASLP faculty and staff, drawing enthusiastic participation from 34 BASLP students. Additionally, Mr. Abhishek Aswal (Batch 2023) conducted a session on vocal hygiene practices, emphasizing preventive care. The celebration fostered a deeper understanding of voice disorders and highlighted the importance of vocal health in professional and personal life.
