Title: These guidelines shall be known as ‘Guidelines for Institution of Medals, Awards & Scholarships by Individuals/institutions/organizations’. These guidelines shall come into force from the date of approval of the Board of Management of the University.
  1. Title: These guidelines shall be known as ‘Guidelines for incentive for faculty members who are Recipients of State/National/International Awards/ Recognition’
  2. These guidelines shall come into force from the date of approval of Board of Management of the University.
  3. The objective of these guidelines is to acknowledge at University level, achievements of faculty members and laud them for their exemplary work.
  4. Applicability: These guidelines shall be applicable to all such faculty members of the University whose academic achievements have been recognized at State, National and International Forums. For the purpose, recognition includes Award or Medal or Certificate of Recognition bestowed at any of the recognized Forums.
  5. Recognized Forums includes any State, National and International level from Government/Govt. recognized bodies with a past track record. Participation/Presentation Certificates for Paper/Poster Presentation are not included for the purpose of these guidelines. In addition intra/inter University awards are also excluded from these guidelines.
  6. The faculty members, who are recipients of awards at any of the above defined recognized forums, shall apply to the University through the Head of their academic unit within the time limit prescribed by the University, giving details and supportive documents of the award received. On receipt of applications, a duly constituted Committee shall scrutinize each application and submit their recommendations to the Vice Chancellor for approval.
  7. The University shall honour such awardees by giving incentive in any of the following forms:
    1. Certificate of honour/appreciation letter
    2. Announcement in SRHU News Letter/Website
    3. Medal
    4. Cash award
    5. Career Advancement / Promotion (to be decided by Committee constituted from time to time)
    6. Salary Increment
    7. Any other incentive not included herein above, as deemed fit.
  8. The University reserves the right to interpret, alter, amend, modify, cancel or withdraw any or all provision mentioned herein above in these guidelines without any notice.
  9. In case of any dispute, decision of the Vice Chancellor of the University shall be final and binding.
