Dr. Mukesh Bijalwan is a Professor at the Himalayan School of Science & Technology and serves as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor. He holds an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Mathematics. A prolific author, Dr. Bijalwan has written four textbooks on Applied and Computational mathematics and has published numerous research papers in renowned national and international journals.With over 22 years of experience in higher education, including tenure at NAAC-accredited universities, He has served in various academic and administrative capacities.These include Registrar, SRHU, Member of the Academic Council, Member of the Board of Studies, Member Secretary of the Review Committee for the Board of Studies, Nodal Officer for the National Education Policy 2020, Nodal Officer for the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Nodal Officer for the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for Higher Educational Institutions and Project Manager for the University Management System.

As a founding member, he played a key role in establishing various academic units, schools, and departments across diverse fields, including engineering, technology, management, vocational and skill development, and pharmaceutical sciences.
