Entrepreneurship
At SRHU, entrepreneurship is not viewed merely as business creation — it is viewed as the courage to solve real problems, create meaningful impact, and transform ideas into possibilities that benefit society.
This belief is reflected through ACIC-SIIC (Atal Community Innovation Center – SRHU Innovation & Incubation Center), which anchors the University’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Rooted in innovation, collaboration, and social responsibility, ACIC-SIIC provides students, faculty, researchers, alumni, and innovators with an environment where ideas are nurtured into scalable ventures.
Shaping Ideas Into Possibilities
The entrepreneurial journey at SRHU begins with curiosity and exploration. Through pre-incubation support, students engage in design thinking, idea validation, market understanding, prototype development, and innovation workshops. Mentors and experts help students refine their concepts while developing the confidence to think independently and creatively.
Building Ventures with Purpose
For early-stage startups and validated ideas, the incubation ecosystem offers structured mentorship, co-working support, networking opportunities, investor readiness guidance, branding support, technology commercialisation, and IPR facilitation. Students and founders work closely with industry experts, researchers, and entrepreneurs to transform innovations into sustainable ventures capable of addressing real-world challenges.
Entrepreneurship Beyond Profit
Entrepreneurship at SRHU is deeply connected to societal impact. Startups emerging from the ecosystem work across healthcare innovation, cancer therapeutics, sustainability, Ayurveda, neurodivergent learning, wellness, bamboo-based alternatives, food purity, and rural entrepreneurship. These initiatives reflect the University’s belief that innovation must ultimately improve lives and strengthen communities.
Students also engage through internships, volunteering, startup projects, hackathons, and interdisciplinary collaborations — developing adaptability, resilience, leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
At SRHU, entrepreneurship is not simply about launching startups — it is about nurturing innovators who can create opportunities, solve challenges, and contribute meaningfully to the world.
