Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), Jolly Grant, has achieved yet another remarkable milestone in the field of quality-driven higher education by being awarded the prestigious ‘Diamond’ Rating by QS I-GAUGE for the year 2026. This honor reflects the university’s exceptional performance across various parameters, including academic excellence, quality teaching, research, administrative efficiency, infrastructure, employability, and social responsibility.
On Thursday, during a special ceremony held at the university’s Adi Kailash Auditorium, Mr. Ravin Nair, the Managing Director of QS I-GAUGE, officially handed over the ‘Grade Card’ to the President of SRHU, Dr. Vijay Dhasmana. In the comprehensive evaluation conducted by QS I-GAUGE, Swami Rama Himalayan University secured top-tier ratings across multiple core parameters, including a Diamond Rating for Faculty Quality, Diversity & Inclusivity; a Platinum Rating for Teaching & Learning, Employability, Infrastructure & Facilities, Social Responsibility, Governance & Institutional Structure, and Academic Development; and a Gold Rating for Research.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Nair stated that Swami Rama Himalayan University has demonstrated remarkable performance across different dimensions of institutional quality and has consistently strengthened itself by making excellent progress in the field of research, extending his heartiest congratulations to the entire university family.
President, SRHU Dr. Vijay Dhasmana noted that this achievement in the QS I-GAUGE ratings is the result of the collective effort, dedication, and commitment to excellence of the entire university family, adding that the university’s ultimate goal is to contribute to society’s progress through quality education alongside research, innovation, healthcare services, and social responsibility.
Outlining the university’s future vision, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Rajendra Dobhal placed special emphasis on integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the curriculum, promoting ‘Integrative Medicine’ by coordinating various branches of medical science, and fostering research, innovation, and entrepreneurship to elevate the standard of education and build a better tomorrow.
The ceremony was attended by Director General (Academic Development) Dr. Vijendra Chauhan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ashok Deorari, along with senior officials, deans of various institutes, heads of departments, faculty members, and students, with Dr. Garima Kapoor conducting the program. Dr. Nikku Yadav from HIMS was coordinator for the program.

QS I-GAUGE is an independent and trusted educational quality assessment system in India, developed in partnership with QS Quacquarelli Symonds and leading Indian education experts, which evaluates universities on multiple parameters to highlight an institution’s credibility, quality, and commitment to global standards. This success joins a series of recent major accolades for the university, as SRHU recently secured a global spot in the 201–300 rank band in the Times Higher Education (THE) Sustainability Impact Rankings 2026, holds a prestigious NAAC A+ Grade, and is highly recognized in various national evaluation frameworks, including the NIRF, marking yet another golden chapter in the university’s ongoing quality journey.
