Annual HSST Sports Days 2024: A Spirited Celebration of Sportsmanship
The Annual HSST Sports Days have been an inseparable tradition at Himalayan School of Science & Technology (HSST) since its inception. This year, from January 29th to January 31st, 2024, HSST continued this legacy with fervor and flair.
Dr. Vinay Avasthi, Principal of HSST, inaugurated the event with the Oath-taking ceremony at 09:10 AM, symbolizing the commitment to fair play and excellence. Following the oath, the meet was declared open, setting the stage for three days of thrilling competition.
Students showcased their enthusiasm and sportsmanship across various disciplines including Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, and Carrom. Each game witnessed intense battles and displays of skill, with participants exhibiting their dedication and teamwork.
The coordination of events was seamless, thanks to the efforts of Mr. Satyendra Singh Rawat and Mr. Rachit Lakhera, the coordinators for the Annual HSST Sports Days-2024, who worked tirelessly alongside faculty members and student volunteers.
The culmination of the sports meet was marked by the Prize Distribution ceremony on January 31st, 2024, at 3:00 PM, held at the HSST College sports ground. Principal Dr. Vinay Avasthi and faculty members awarded prizes to all winners and runners-up, recognizing their outstanding performances and contributions to the spirit of the games.
As the event drew to a close, a heartfelt vote of thanks was extended, acknowledging the collective effort that made the Annual HSST Sports Days-2024 a resounding success, fostering camaraderie, and celebrating the essence of sportsmanship.
