Placement Objectives
- To shortlist potential employers on the basis of student’s discipline, their interests and market research.
- To place students for Industrial Training in various industries for 6 to 8 weeks, under the supervision and guidance of an industry professional.
- To organize industry visits of the students in relevant industries in various locations. It serves the objective of exposure to large-scale practical applications of theoretical aspects.
- To orient students about industry expectations. Additional seminars are organized by the placement department in each semester to improve learning in the areas of personality development, group discussion, presentation skills and interview skills.
- To organize expert lecture series for enhancing current industry knowledge which helps in familiarizing the students with the industry practices and their correlation with the textbook material.
