Workshop on Rational Prescriptions Enhances Practical Skills of MBBS Students at SRHU

At Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU), fostering hands-on learning is at the core of medical education. The Department of Pharmacology at HIMS recently organized a workshop, “Rational Prescription: From Theory to Practice,” engaging 159 second-year MBBS students.

With a focus on applying theoretical knowledge to real-world patient care, students showcased their skills in practical prescription writing. The event highlighted critical areas like communication, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based treatments. Sumit Mishra took the top spot, followed by Yashaswini Sinha and Anshika Tandon.

Principal Dr. A.K. Deorari underscored the importance of developing these essential skills in the healthcare profession, preparing students to serve with competence and care.
